Cougar Onion is a hybrid, short-day onion with a light brown coloration on the outer skin. This is a sweet onion variety that produces round, globe-shaped onions. This variety produces massive onions with sizes ranging from jumbo to colossal. This is a great variety for raw preparations or cooking. The round shape makes it easier to cut and prepare than some of the flatter, granex varieties.
